Waiting on Wednesday ~ The Mary Shelley Club/The Last Girl by Goldy Moldavsky

Evening all,

Happy Wednesday all, welcome to a new Waiting on Wednesday! A bit later, but I was working on my blog to get it updated (thanks to my hubby for helping out <3 ). Today I am eagerly waiting for The Mary Shelley Club/The Last Girl by Goldy Moldavsky!

I am giving two titles as it seems the hardcover/kindle/ebooks have a different title than the paperback. Also a different cover. Why can’t we just keep things the same instead of making it confusing and difficult? Haha, I just showed it to my husband and his face was just precious. He has the same thoughts about it as I do. XD

So, why do I want this book so badly? Well, the premise sounds amazing! I just love secret clubs, and especially one where things just can go totally wrong. Give me all the horror! I am also curious what kind of pranks the club comes up with and how scary are they? How far will these kids go for a scary prank? Plus, there is a monster and secrets, oh yas! Now I just got to wait until April, and then the question comes, will I wait until a paperback comes out with the cover that the hardcover has… or will I go for the paperback cover which is, in my eyes, just boring and bland.

The Mary Shelley Club, Goldy Moldavsky, Girl, Face, Red Font, Horror, Mystery, Pranks, Young AdultNew girl Rachel Chavez is eager to make a fresh start at Manchester Prep. But as one of the few scholarship kids, Rachel struggles to fit in, and when she gets caught up in a prank gone awry, she ends up with more enemies than friends.

To her surprise, however, the prank attracts the attention of the Mary Shelley Club, a secret club of students with one objective: come up with the scariest prank to orchestrate real fear. But as the pranks escalate, the competition turns cutthroat and takes on a life of its own.

When the tables are turned and someone targets the club itself, Rachel must track down the real-life monster in their midst . . . even if it means finally confronting the dark secrets from her past.
