Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 14-3-2021

Afternoon everyone~

Bakemonogatari, Books, Gif, Red Books, Girl, Boy, Diving/Jumping, Anime

Welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates! New books, re-reads, and more!

Another week of nothing much. But good news, I am feeling better. Still very much out of breath, but less! I am quite happy about that. More air is always better.
Reading-wise, it was an OK week. I do start to notice that I am less and less enjoying reading, I keep reading, but I may just take a few days off from it. I just miss the library too much. It’s been almost 3 months (December 15th) since the lockdown started and things closed. I just need some library books. I need some Dutch books. Hopefully in April we can visit… hopefully.

What did I read from my TBR stack this week? Strawberry Panic #1 (fun and adorable, glad I could re-read it), My Hime (Ah yes, the totally different from the anime manga with a way more perverted and action plot, I still enjoy it though), The Last Kids on Earth (too much fun), Descendants of Darkness (pretty good with mostly great characters and good action), Bloedkoraal (SO GOOD), Kill Joy (OK, but could have been better), Death Vigil (AWESOME), Mercy (confusing, but exciting in the end with GORGEOUS art).

I tried and dropped: Boeroes (it just was all over the place and too many facts over personal), The Sick House (lots of coffee and a bland MC).

Here is a glorious new stack with 7 new books (Boyfriend Cruise > Don’t Tell a Soul) and 10 re-reads (My Hime > Girl Out of Water). I cannot wait to start reading these! And also my top 6 books I want to read (or am reading) on my Kindle!

And that is the end of this week’s TBR Updates! I wish everyone good luck with reading, and I hope everyone has a good week! Stay safe!

  1. I’m glad that you are feeling better! Hopefully that will continue! I’m sorry that you’re in a reading slump. I notice that I am the same way when I’m sick. I’ve started Uzumaki this weekend and I’m enjoyed it. It definitely brought me out of my slump!

    1. Thank you! I hope so too~ Ohh, happy to hear you found a book/series that brought you out of your slump, yay! I am trying to read manga/graphic novels a bit more, as normally that helps for me, but I am still stuck. 🙁 I did buy some new Dutch books and they will be send soon, so hopefully one of those will get me out of my slump!
