Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 28-3-2021

Afternoon all~

Bakemonogatari, Books, Gif, Red Books, Girl, Boy, Diving/Jumping, Anime

Another eh week. Not much to tell.
Reading-wise. Drowned myself in books this week. The news of the lockdown extending, while predictable still hit like a ton of bricks. We have been in lockdown for more than 3 months now and I can’t handle it anymore. So I read plenty of books from Kindle, Netgalley (got it down to 10 again), and books from my stack!

What did I read from my TBR stack this week? Nodame Cantabile #1 (this was a very fun re-read and I am eager to re-read the rest of the series now), Library Wars (tons of exciting things, though I get a bit tired that Iku still hasn’t found out the prince thing), My-HiME (things are heating up and getting better, can’t wait to read the final two volumes), Dat wordt nooit wat (I laughed my butt off), Undercover (exciting, though some dumb decisions were made), Gegijzeld (flails, this was so good, except for the yellow coated girl plotline), Buurtpolitie (hilarious and I love the alien theme), Dad (Babette learns a new thing, and some drama, but also humour), Spoof on Titan #2 (this was a fun read, I am glad I finally had time to read it), Aho-Girl (this was just hilarious, though also a bit… weird, weirder than normal), Fate/Stay Night #2 (exciting and I love that I know some things and am eagerly waiting for characters to find out), Uma and the Answer to Absolutely Everything (soooo funny, but also with a dash of sadness, great chapter titles btw).

And here is a new stack! On the bottom (4 books) are books I got from mini libraries while walking in my town. After that my stack of owned books. Next the library book (this week I want to really read it). Then re-reads. I am quite excited about this stack. Trying to balance new and older books as my interest in re-reading is waning and I don’t want to be stuck only re-reading.
As for Kindle, again with collections I cannot show what books I want to read, but I can give you a written top 3. First finish the Graveyard Smash by various authors (started today). 1. Wicked Passions by Nicola Davidson, 2. Honden huilen niet bij Anne Moraal, and 3. Show me by Neve Wilder.

And that concludes this week’s Sunday’s TBR Updates! Thank you all for reading! I hope everyone has a good rest of the weekend and a good week. Stay safe!
