Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 7-3-2021

Afternoon all!

Bakemonogatari, Books, Gif, Red Books, Girl, Boy, Diving/Jumping, Anime

Happy weekend all throws confetti Welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates!

Another uneventful week, nothing really special happened. My health is not doing so well, my asthma is flaring up and I am out of breath a lot. 🙁
Reading-wise it was a good week! I read quite some books, got my Netgalley TBR to 10 after it got up to 15 (YAS), read some manga, started reading some more of my new books. All in all, a week filled with words!

What did I read from my TBR stack this week? .hack #3 (fun and an exciting end to a great trilogy with good characters and humour), Girls Bravo #1 (glad I got to re-read this, some issues but mostly fun), Library Wars #1 (great to re-read this amazing series again, can’t wait to see how the characters grow), Is this a zombie? #2 (funny, a bit ecchi, but I laughed so much), Jeanie & Genie #3 (loved this one it was so cute and magical), Young Bride’s Story #4 (a wonderful volume, loved the twins), The Monster Doctor: Revolting Rescue (this was both QT and hilarious), This is not the Jess Show (this was a fantastic book, loved every bit of it), Het complete airfryer boek (so-so, some nice recipes but not all worked for my allergies), Ships (adorable and I laughed a lot).
From my Kindle: The House of Long Shadows (eh, so-so, sometimes scary mostly dumb horror stupidity and repetition), Don’t Turn on the Lights (Scary with tons of great stories).

I tried and dropped: Moederhart (just couldn’t get into this one), verliefd zijn is een ramp (I liked it a few years ago… now not so much).

Here is a brand-new stack with some books from last time and some new books + re-reads. I cannot wait to dig into this stack. Also added is a new Kindle top 6 books I want to read.

And that concludes this week Sunday’s TBR Updates. Thanks for reading and wish me luck! I hope everyone has a good week, stay safe!

    1. Thank you! I hope we both enjoy Shipped, I heard so much good about it! Thank you, hope so too, some more air would be lovely. 😅

  1. Awesome you got so much reading done and had such a great week with that! It’s always so satisfying to cross books off your TBR lists. I’m sorry you weren’t feeling too well last week, though. I hope you feel better soon and that your health improves!! 💗

    1. Thank you, I am still very impressed I managed to read so much! Yep, it definitely is. The stacks can be daunting so it is a delightful feeling being able to cross them off. Aww, thank you for your well wishes! 🥰❣

      1. You’re very welcome! That is truly impressive! And it is such a great, satisfying feeling to know you’re actually making a dent in your TBR. It can be so intimidating and overwhelming to go through your lists and do that. Of course, no problem! I really hope you feel better and are able to enjoy this week to the fullest! 💞

        1. Yep! Even though a lot of books on my current TBR are re-reads, it still feels good because of those re-reads I have been thinking of re-reading for some time and I just don’t get to it. Now I finally do! Thank you, I am getting some more air, though still not a lot, but I will take any extra air. Thank you! I hope you also have a great week! 🥰

          1. Yeah, that’s always good! I’ve been thinking of re-reading some old favorites, too. I should get around to doing that soon! Of course, you’re so welcome! I’m very glad you’re getting some extra air. Hopefully, that will improve even more! And thank you! I truly appreciate that. ✨💜✨
