These three books I am currently reading. The first one (Dad) is a fun comic about a dad and his four daughters and I am excited to read a new part in the series. Then we have Half which is a (so far at least) beautiful book about family, family history, about finding your roots. I just adore the cover and I am happy the book is also a good read. And lastly, I got a ton of picture books to read and Ik Bepaal (I Decide) is first! This book sounds absolutely hilarious about a boy who wants to make his own decisions and goes to do so. 

This book! I wasn’t that impressed in the beginning but after 100 pages (normally I would have given up but I strangely also was curious about the book and didn’t want to give it up) I just started really loving this book. There is tons of adventure, magic, bear stuff, and the characters are well-written and story is beautiful. I am still not sure how I felt about the short tales we got at times. On the one hand nice addition, on the other hand it broke up the story for me. I think I would have preferred to see them at the end, or maybe a separate book.

It is high time I read this ARC! It’s been on my Netgalley shelf for a few months now. I am in a horror mood again + it is summer so I love stories about islands and travelling and this promises that along with tons of horror. I do hope that it doesn’t get too gory as my stomach just cannot handle that. I hope it will just be very scary.
