A spooky Halloween welcome to a new Book Tag, today I participated in The Halloween Book Tag!

I was looking around for some fun book tags to add to my blog for this Halloween and came across this one (and also another which will appear later this month). Halloween is still not a big big event here, however it is slowly getting a bit more popular. I love this season and I always decorate my house, gather what little Halloween candy I can find, watch and read all sorts of spooky stuff.

I found this book tag over at Victorious Pages Be sure to check out her post/her answers!

1. Favourite Scary (Must Read) For Halloween?

Through the Woods, Emily Carroll, Horror, Short Stories, Graphic Novel, Halloween, Spooky,

This one! I do try to re-read it every year! It is a graphic novel with all sorts of scary, spooky, gory, OMG short stories.

2. Scariest Book Cover, Like Ever?

Mary Will I Die?, Shawn Sarles, Black, Girl, Red Font, Bloody Mary, Horror

Oh man, just one? Do you know how many scary book covers I have seen over the years of blogging. XD I will go for this one. It is a recent one that scared the wits out of me (sadly, the book wasn’t as scary).

3. If You Could Go Trick-or-Treating With Any Author, Who Would You Pick?

Would love to go with Hilary Monahan or Laura Ellen Anderson. They seem fun to have around and get candy with (going by their tweets/books, given I don’t chat with authors).

4. If You Could Dress Up As Any Bookish Character For Halloween, Who Would You Be?

I would go for Morrigan Crow! She is such a great character! Oh, can I add another? Hilda! Awesome adventures, cool blue hair, adventurous!

5. If You Could Find Anything (From Any Book) In Your Trick-or-Treat Stash, What Would You Hope To Find?

Books? During Trick or Treat? We seriously need that Trick or Treating going here. Haha, not that I as an 18+ person can Trick or Treat, but um I can try? But back to the question at hand, I would go for this book *points to the cover below*. Why? Because Amazon doesn’t have it in stock and I want to read it. I recently read book 1 and I am just so sad that I cannot continue the series.

Warren the 13th and the Whispering Woods, Tania del Rio, Will Staehle, Green, Adventure, Magic, Fantasy, Children's Books

6. In What Fictional World Would You Like To Go Trick-or-Treating?

I know I know, HP is bad, HP is bad. But sorry, I am just going for the Harry Potter world as well. Can you imagine the candy you would get??? I mean marses and twixes are fun and all, but come on, the candy in HP is just so much cooler and fun.

7. What Book Villain Would You Not Like To Meet Alone In A Dark Alley On Halloween?

Sadako, Ring

Sadako from the Ring. I got many others, but I will go for this girl. LORD, her coming out of a TV is scary enough, but seeing her pop up in an alley is an even bigger NOPE.

8. Would You Rather Dress Up As A Vampire, Zombie, Werewolf, or Shadowhunter?

Never gotten into the Shadowhunter world, so um, vampire! I always have loved vampires (though not the one who glitter, good book, but glitter on vampires is such a turn-off) and I would love to dress up as one!

9. Pick A Candy (Just One) From Harry Potter That You Would Love To Find In Your Stash?

Fizzing Whizbees, Harry Potter, Candy

Fizzing Whizbees! I would love to levitate for a bit!

10. What Is Your Favourite Halloween Candy?

Um, we don’t really have specific Halloween candy in the stores, Halloween is still very much in baby shoes here. So I will just take whatever looks good and is labelled Halloween candy. That way I found quite some interesting fun candy over the past years. From gummy insects to marshmallow pumpkins.

And that concludes the spooooookyyyyy tag! I had so much fun with this one and I hope my readers enjoyed reading my answers! I will tag everyone to give this book tag a whirl, be sure to let me know if you did it, I would love to see all your answers. 🎃🎃
