Welcome to my Library #1 Haul post!! I got so many books and I cannot wait to show them.
So yesterday I decided to do a BIG BIG Library run~ At time of writing (Friday morning 11am) we still don’t know what the government will do, there is just dumb advices that don’t make any sense given where the infections/cases are from, so I decided yesterday to just pick up all the books at Library #1 and #3 and also visit Library #4 to add 2 more books so I would have maxed that one out as well, in case that the libraries would close. It wouldn’t surprise me if they did, they always seem to close the places that no one or very little people go to. 😐 Yes, I was completely dead in the evening when I had visited all the places, but do I regret it? No. Because seriously, at least I got books to read if they do a big lockdown. I also went shopping for some smaller stuff I still needed + checking for small presents that would be a fun addition to the bigger presents I ordered. I want to have everything done. No worries.
I had fun visiting Library #1 and looked forward to checking all my favourite spots for books + all the other places. It was delightfully calm at the library, just a few people here and there and most of them studying. I found quite a few fantastic books, including a new book by Nicola Skinner! Plus, I recently found out that Bianca Toeps made a kids-edition of her amazing book on autism, and guess what I found at the library? That’s right! The book! YAS!
I cannot wait to read these books, first let’s wait what the government will tell us this evening. If it is no lockdown and libraries will continue to stay open… then I will start to dig into these books. 😋 And otherwise, spread it out. It has been hard already not reading my new Library #4 and #2 books from last week. I managed. But don’t ask how. 🙈
Oh, and something funny, one of the books I wanted to borrow wasn’t working so I went to the librarian… apparently the system didn’t see the book as a book… 🤣
