The Christmas Book Blogger Tag
Hohoho Merry Christmas all!
A merry welcome to The Christmas Book Blogger Tag! The last festive tag of the year and I thought this one would be perfect to do on Day 1 of Christmas!
I found this tag over at the amazing The Book Dutchesses, be sure to check out their answers~
The original creator is Between The Lines, but sadly their site isn’t working any more so I cannot link to that one.
π What Is Your Favourite Christmas Scene In A Book? π
Well, I am terrible at questions like this, haha. I recently read a Christmas book called Merry Little Wishing Spritz in which our MC along with the guy she hates but also really likes has to deliver presents around and I just had so much fun reading that scene as it was clear they were trying to one-up each other while also heavily flirting.
π Do You Have Any Christmas Book Traditions? π
Christmas Book Traditions? I am trying to think what this means? If you mean do I read Christmas books? Well, I try to. But this year I haven’t read a lot, it has been hard enough to get into the Christmas mood for me with all that happened early December and all that is still going on in the world.
π Do You Prefer To Get Presents Of Book Vouchers Or Books? π
Books. Always books. Vouchers are nice, but I much prefer having the book right in my hands. Santa knows what books I want.
π Do You Give Books As Presents? π
Yes! I always love to give books. These days I just got my husband to get presents for, but before I also had my parents and other people. I always made sure to at least have one or two books as presents. In the mean time, my husband is drowning in books as he just doesn’t have time to read. XD Sorry, hun. I will still keep on giving. XD
π What Bookish Item Is On Your Christmas Wishlist? π
Bookmarks! Look at this post for what I would love to get.
π What 3 Books Would You Love Santa To Have In His Sack For You? π
I got SO MANY books on my list. But haha, you guys have seen my Dear Santa post and I will just refer to that one.
π Fake Christmas Tree Or Real Christmas Tree? π
When I was a kid my dad and I used to get a big fat real tree. But as soon as I moved out a real tree was just a hassle, expensive, and I couldn’t always handle the piny smell. And then I met my husband and he was also not really a fan of real trees. We did upgrade from my small fake tree to a big fake tree which is now looking absolutely fabulous in the living room.
π Whatβs Your Favourite Thing About Christmas? π
Um everything! Haha, I love the food, I love the cosiness, I love the lights and the tree and the decorations all over, I love the food (and this time I mean the candy), I love visiting my family in law on one of the two days. I love how everything is cold outside but inside it is just fluffy and wonderful. I love the music. Do you want me to go on?
π What Christmas Book Would You Recommend? π
One book I recently read is a cute picture book named Merry Christmas by Adam Wallace.
π What Dish On Your Christmas Menu Are You Most Looking Forward To? π
We don’t really do specific dishes. We will probably doing gourmetting (I have no clue what the English word is) again, and since Corona has come between and so we cannot stay long with the family, we will just order something. After the year we had, we don’t want to do much. XD
π When Do You Open Your Christmas Presents? π
That depends on when we normally visit the family. If we visit on Day 2 of Christmas then we open them on Day 1. If it is the other way than Day 2. Generally in the evening just before or after dinner.
π Whatβs Your Favourite Christmas Song? π
Haha, well then I have to go for something I listen to a lot during this time and that is S3RL – Generic Holiday Song.
π Are You Dreaming Of A White Christmas? π
As a Dutchie whose chances of getting a White Christmas is very low, yes. I keep dreaming of that beautiful White Christmas! I just love snow and Christmas just becomes much more magical with a nice white layer of snow!
And that is it! Thanks all for reading, this was just so much fun to do! I hope you all enjoyed reading my answers and I would tag anyone to do this tag! Merry Christmas! Have a great day (and days in case of those with two days like us Dutchies).
