Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 23-1-2022

Afternoon!

Bakemonogatari, Books, Gif, Red Books, Girl, Boy, Diving/Jumping, Anime

Welcome all to a new shiny Sunday’s TBR Updates!!! Happy Sunday!!!!

This was an okay week, not much happened. Well, we did get a chance to see a dog, but it was just a bit too much for us so we decided not to go for it, but really he was so adorable and kept headbutting and licking XD. I am also a tad sick, but good news, it is not COVID. I was feeling off all week and on Saturday I asked my hubby if he could get me a self-test because I wanted to make sure on what I was having, flu or COVID. Well, flu it is. Thankfully. Still not fun, but better than COVID.
Reading-wise, a good week! Had fun reading books from my stack and also picture books that weren’t on the stack as I am an even bigger mood-reader with those.

What did I read from my TBR this week? Escape School (puzzles weren’t always well explained, but the story was fantastic and I love the POV), Van aap tot sapiens (this author has a fantastic writing style, this was so interesting to read), Mum’s the Word (hilarious and honest, really enjoyed this book), Donut the Destroyer (Sarah Graley did it again, this was once again a fantastic graphic novel about heroes and villains), Mr Penguin (hilarious, adventurous, and all the hamsters, loved it), Do not mess with mermaids (fun, but not as fun as the first book, loved Dennis), Take me With You When You Go (WOW WOW WOW, heart-breaking and beautiful), Mabel Mooiweer en de minipiraten (this was so fun with adventure and great characters, too bad Uncle Jim ruined it a bit) Het geheim van de zwarte piste (had expected more, quite bland, not much mystery/secret).

I tried and DNF-ed : From Little Tokyo with Love (some points didn’t work with me).

Here is a new stack! With the last few books from the libraries I need to read (will be visiting my libraries next week, well if I feel well enough). And there are also a new book (Lock the Doors). One book is missing from the stack (Greta and the Ghost Hunters), since that one came in late evening yesterday and I wasn’t in the mood to get the stack build up again. Haha.

Here we go! These are my reading plans for the upcoming week, I am so hyped about the books and cannot wait to start reading! Thank you all for reading and let me know in the comments what your plans are or if anything on my stack looks fun! I hope everyone has a fantastic week, stay safe~
