I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

I just LOVE LOVE books about baking. Always looking for new recipes to make. New recipes to try out. And this book promised some yummy food that looked so good I just wanted to grab it out of the book.

There are various parts to this book, from cookies to brownies to giant cookies. Each recipe begins with a personal story which I am still not sure if I am fan of. Haha. Sorry. I just want to get to the recipe, I don’t mind a small intro but sometimes it just was a tad too much. The recipe itself is very clear to follow, I haven’t yet made anything (as of writing this on 3 Feb, but by the time this pops up I will have tried a couple), but I have made enough food in my life to see if instructions are clear from just reading it. There are also tips and hints, from things to watch out for and what else you can use as toppings or fillings. My stomach was definitely growling and demanding I would make them. I had to disappoint her because well, at 11pm I am just not going to bake any more. Haha. XD

Like many cookbooks there are plenty of recipes filled with death. Yes, death. Because I am very very VERY allergic to nuts/peanuts/almonds. So I skipped those, I am sorry, I cannot make them, I cannot eat them, I cannot go near them. So yeah, useless to read.

I am also very happy to see normal measurements next to the not-so-normal (at least for me/my country) measurements. We get gram, kilos, ml, Celsius. And bless the lord for that because I have read too many English books that just go for that alone which means I just cannot do anything. I am not in the mood to go to google and see how much a cup is or how much Celsius x Fahrenheit is. SO thank you to the author! Now I can make these delightful bakes as well!
