Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 17-4-2022

Happy Easter all and a hoppy welcome to the a new Sunday’s TBR Updates~

So this week was pretty OK-ish! At one of our supermarkets you can get little pots of flower seeds with x amount of groceries and I got a few now. Been growing them and so far I got a few little baby plants sprouting up, going to re-pot them today to a bigger box and then after they have grown a bit more, replant them in the garden! I cannot wait to see the colours! The weather has been lovely here as well and I have been enjoying it~ Plus, I visited Library #1 and #4!
Reading-wise: An OK week! Had fun reading books from my stack and not on my stack (hey, I am a mood-reader XD). Sadly, also quite a few DNF. 🙁

What did I read from my TBR this week? Jamie McFlair (pretty fun, but there were things I wasn’t a fan of), Mijn hart van ijs (lovely and beautiful story though the ages confused me at times), Een heerlijk feestje (this was cute, a bit too simple, but cute), Bibi’s bijzondere…. (I really had fun reading this one, learned a few new things), Het spookt op.. (I really had fun reading it and I enjoyed it, the ghosts are so sweet), Bahar Bizar (sweet), De 3 speurders (I felt like I missed something.. but it was a good book).

I tried and DNF-ed: De Zoete Bakker (there weren’t a lot of things I could make (allergies ahoy) so I dropped it), Professor S. (the stories were fun but the non-fiction parts just didn’t fit and broke up the story), Last Bear (wasn’t a fan of the father and how neglectful he was), Het voorval (Lord, this was written in such a boring way), Regeneratie (as other reviewers said.. would be better as a movie).

Here is a new stack! I am still reading (trying so hard) to read The Fountains of Silence but since it is downstairs it isn’t on the list. And on the stack are a couple of my new books I got recently along with the last Library #2/3 books and some new books from Library #1/#4. I am really excited about this stack of books! So many fun things!

And that is it! Thanks for reading, wish me luck, and let me know in the comments what you think of my pile and if there is anything you think is interesting! I hope everyone has a great Easter and enjoys the day (or days for us Dutchies and other lucky peeps) and that everyone also has a great week! Stay safe!
