WWW Wednesday #27 ~ 27-4-2022

Evening all!

A happy welcome to a new WWW Wednesday!!

I hope all the Dutchies that read my blog had a great Kings Day today, I was certainly happy that I could go outside and check out some small things (yum yum churros) and not stay in like the past two years. And the rest of the week so far has been OK. Sunday I visited the garden centre.. and got a few plants. πŸ™ˆ On Monday we visited my sister in law during the evening for tea/coffee/cake as she just had her birthday. I cannot wait to see what the rest of the week will bring~

About WWW Wednesdays: WWW WednesdayΒ is a meme hosted by Sam ofΒ Taking on a World of Words. It is a fun way to show readers what you are reading, what you finished, what you want to read next.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Miss Merkel en een onverwachte wending, David Safier, Humour, Mystery, Murder, Crime
Started this one today! Well, I haven’t had a lot of time to read as I had a fun day with my husband + also some other books. So far it is good, love the little town, and love how much it feels like Merkel (if that makes sense), but it is also weird because you just don’t expect her in this setting. Haha. I cannot wait for the murder part to come around. Oh, and I just love that her dog is called Putin. XDΒ

There's a Unicorn in Your Book (Who's In Your Book?) by Tom Fletcher, Greg Abbott, Picture Book, Cute, Unicorn, Magic, Fantasy, InteractiveKoning van het Sintelwoud by Jen Minkman , Thorns, Berries, Mystery, Fantasy, Young Adult
Finished these two books! One was an adorable picture book about a unicorn in a book that could use cheering up and I had so much fun reading it. Especially because it was interactive. Thankfully there was no one around me because haha, I was shaking the book, whispering secrets, and more. And the book next to that is a Jen Minkman that was still on my to read after I found out she has written quite a few books over the years that escaped my radar! It was a sweet book with romance and trying to break the circle of fate. Tons of gods, mythology, and more.Β

The Book of Accidents by Chuck Wendig, Horror, Scary, Ghosts, House, Mystery
This one! I was so so excited when I came across it at Library #3 last Saturday! I have heard things about this book and I had been eager to read it… one day.. so I am glad that that one day is now here! It is a chonker, but I hope that it is a good chonker with a fast-paced and scary story.
