Welcome to a new Stacking the Shelves! happy dances Hope everyone is having a great day~
I was delighted to have received and found new books in my life (so many!)! Now I can share them with you all! On Friday I visited Library #4 and got a nice stack of books (not all so easily gotten as the librarian was holding onto the new releases because she had been on vacation.. yes really) + this week I got some books from other places as well~ It has been such a good book week~
And as you could have read in my Sunday’s TBR Updates, this week was also a pretty OK week for me in normal things. Sure, my health could be better but I guess I just have to do a bit more self-care instead of pushing myself so hard.
What is Stacking the Shelves: STACKING THE SHELVES is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! Hosted previously by Tynga’s Reviews and now by Reading Reality
On Saturday my hubby and I visited the book store where I found 5 books that looked so so much fun, and what did my hubby do? He bought them! One I already wanted to have (but couldn’t find, so yesssss, now I can finally read this novella). Then there is Idefix who apparently got his own series now and I just NEED to read this! And the other 3 are books that were on sale and looked too adorable to pass. Thanks hubby!
These four books! Go Hunt Me is a book I got from the publisher/TBR and Beyond Tours! So hyped about it because I have had my eyes on the book for a while now and was crossing all my fingers in the hopes of reviewing it for the tour. I got to read that one before June 13th. Next up is The You Kind of Kind which I spotted over on Twitter first and then a day later saw on Netgalley, of course I had to request it. The book sounds adorable, inclusive, full of kindness, and I love the colours. The last two books are new Sumo books! Last year I read Sumo Counting and Sumo Opposites and I am so excited that they are making more books featuring sumo wrestlers.
I visited Library #4 two days ago and I had a great haul. I am really excited about the newest Linda van Rijn and Maren Stoffels.
The first book is an ARC I got from the tour organiser! Since I just got a .mobi through mail and not through Netgalley I thought I would throw it here in the Kindle section! I am very excited about the book it definitely sounds like pandemonium all right. XD Panda’s, magic, familiars, witches, and more! The tour stops at the 13th of June so I still got plenty of time to read~ Next up a freebie I found through Twitter and which sounds totally epic (I am in the mood for scary stuff)! And lastly a book from Haunt Publishing, I supported their Kickstarter last year and now the books are slowly released! I am SO SO hyped about this book!
