Waiting on Wednesday ~ Long Live the Pumpkin Queen by Shea Ernshaw

Evening all!

A big happy welcome to a new Waiting on Wednesday!! Today I am very eagerly waiting for July when Long Live the Pumpkin Queen by Shea Ernshaw releases!

I am a BIG BIG BIG fan of Nightmare Before Christmas, watched it way too many times (though is there such a thing as that 😆) and I was hyped to read that there will be a new book coming out for that series. A book featuring my dear sweet Sally! The girlfriend/wife of Jack Skellington! I am just so so excited to read a story featuring her and  taking place after the events of the movie! I am curious about the new doorway they find and what kind of events will happen. Plus, I love that she is getting more spotlight time, because she deserves it. She had a pretty interesting (and sad) backstory in the movie and seems that is still lingering with things she does in this one and it still affects her.

Oh, and that cover is just perfection. 😍

Can this girl wait until July? *shakes 8-ball**Reply hazy, try again.*🙈

Long Live the Pumpkin Queen by Shea Ernshaw, Fantasy, Romance, Horror, Nightmare Before Christmas, Sally, Jack, SkellingtonJack and Sally are “truly meant to be” … or are they?

Sally Skellington is the official, newly-minted Pumpkin Queen after a whirlwind courtship with her true love, Jack, who Sally adores with every inch of her fabric seams — if only she could say the same for her new role as Queen of Halloween Town. Cast into the spotlight and tasked with all sorts of queenly duties, Sally can’t help but wonder if all she’s done is trade her captivity under Dr. FInkelstein for a different — albeit gilded — cage. But when Sally and Zero accidentally uncover a long-hidden doorway to an ancient realm called Dream Town in the forest Hinterlands, she’ll unknowingly set into motion a chain of sinister events that put her future as Pumpkin Queen, and the future of Halloween Town itself, into jeopardy. Can Sally discover what it means to be true to herself and save the town she’s learned to call home, or will her future turn into her worst… well, nightmare
