Friday Face Off #1: 3-6-2022: Under The Sea
Evening all!
A big big cover lover welcome to a shiny new meme post! Today I am participating in my very first Friday’s Face Off! Eep!
I was looking around for something to add just a bit more spice and variation to my blog. Plus, I just don’t know which books I used from my shelves and not in the mood to go through them and I just don’t always have new physical English books around. I often do find a page 69 after some thorough searching or if I am lucky that I have new English library books again. So I wanted a back-up, something different, something fun, something that doesn’t require me to open a book. XD
I have had my eyes on this meme post for a while now, but didn’t think of doing it. But now? Bring it! Haha. The first theme I will be participating in is Under the Sea, and I managed to find a book I read (I know, you don’t need to have read the book, but I really want to try that) with an underwater-ish theme.
What is Friday Face Off? It’s a memepost created by Books by Proxy and now hosted on Books and Travelling by Lynn! The rules are fairly simple each week, following a predetermined theme (list below) choose a book (this doesnβt have to be a book that youβve read), compare a couple of the different covers available for that particular book and choose your favourite.

It wasn’t an easy choice. For some strange reason I am also mesmerised by the face cover. It is weird and something is off, but I am also mesmerised. But I am going for the Dutch cover. I just really love how there is a girl floating in the water in a house. It is a stock-photo and I see it more often, but I just cannot help but love this photograph.
That is my very first Friday Face Off! Let me know in the comments what you thought and if you are just as hyped as me to see this post on my blog? Also let me know which one is your favourite out of these covers~
