A fluffy welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates! Happy Sunday all!
This week was OK-ish. I am still not feeling very OK, but I do notice I am feeling a bit better so yay. This week was calm, not much happening. I wish I could say more, but really nothing exciting or mentionable happened.
Reading-wise it was a pretty good week. Yes, I had some DNF but also worked my way through my tbr/books + am now up to date on the ARC/review copies that had a deadline, so yas!
What did I read from my TBR this week? Heimkehren und neu anfangen (sooo sweet, so cute, so yes), Zombie 100 (zombies, onsen, a new awesome character, this was an epic volume), My pretty policeman #2 and #3 (both wonderful volumes, sad it is over, but boy it was a sweet ride), Last one to die (), Rainbow Grey (wonderful, adventurous, but did you have to go there author, my poor feels), Jij + Ik (lovely poetry bundle), Suske en Wiske Junior (this was sweet, loved what S+W did for that lady), Als moppen (hilarious, even read several to my husband who was in stitches afterwards), Een huis vol geluiden (lovely), Blaffende wolven bijten niet (a bit rushed, there was drama near the end, but in overall I really enjoyed this novella with snow and romance), Campings waar je gelukkig van wordt (pretty nice), Koning Snert (haah, Tosca Menten did it again, I never knew what to believe), Schoon (OK, could use some editing and some things were just disgusting), Expeditie Himalaya (WOW, so much fun).
I tried but sadly DNF-ed: Ik durf niets maar (so much chaos, I just couldn’t follow it), Een doodgewone dag (constant POV switching, didn’t work), Ayoub (after 44 pages I just gave up, it was just not about farming but all about his youth, maybe the farm is mentioned later, but no).
Here is a new stack! With new books that arrived this week (I needed one of them so not listed is Mickey and the Animal Spies book 3). It was time for my monthly buy time and I had fun selecting some books. Plus, some library books I really want to read.
Thanks for reading all! I hope everyone has a great week with plenty of good reads and great weather! Let me know in the comments what you think of my stack + what looks good. Plus, let me know what your plans are~
