WWW Wednesday #29 ~ 1-6-2022

Evening all!

Welcome to a new WWW Wednesday!! It’s been a while but I really wanted to do one today.

I hope everyone is having a good week. I am trying my best to make it a good week, but with everything happened in May and also the past months.. not doing so well. But I am trying. I am happy I got some books to disappear into + I have been working on my blog the past few days. Getting new categories up, fixing reviews (and finding some that magically got removed), fixing broken links, making sure everything works even better. Tomorrow I hope I feel well enough to pop by Library #1. crosses fingers

About WWW Wednesdays: WWW Wednesdayย is a meme hosted by Sam ofย Taking on a World of Words. It is a fun way to show readers what you are reading, what you finished, what you want to read next.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think youโ€™ll read next?

The Sceptic (Arcana Books #1) by Lily Morton, Paranormal, Dual POV, Romance, Flirting, Sexy, Ghosts
Started this one last night, haven’t been able to read much today (blogging/work/other ARCs). This one takes place in the universe of Blue/Black another series by this author that I absolutely loved. So far it is really fun, there is a spooky activities happening, the flirting between Jem and Will is just *chef kiss* perfect and I love their banter, it is well-written, and I just love the mentions of other characters (and we even saw a couple in the beginning of the story). I am very much invested in this one!
Recently Finished, WWW Wednesday, Reading, Books, Rainbow, Plant
My Body Created a Human: A Love Story by Emma Ahlqvist, Graphic Novel, Pregnancy, Parenting, Babies, Pink, MemoirBarnaby Is Not Afraid of Anything by Gilles Bizouerne, Bรฉatrice Rodriguez , Fears, Walk, Friendship, Animals, Fun, Picture Book, Children's Books
These two! I got them both from Netgalley yesterday and I just had to read them today when I had time to do so. The first one is about pregnancy and parenting done in a graphic novel form and I liked reading it. Very nicely written. Then the book on the right was a superadorable and fun picture book about three friends going on a moonlit walk and coming across some mysterious things, I had such a laugh + the art was really nice. Both these books will have a review coming around August/September, look forward to them.ย

Mot en de metaalvissers by Sanne Rooseboom (Goodreads Author), Sophie Pluim , Dutch, Children's Book, MysteryThe Mysterious Locker Notes (The Wright Detective, #1) by Kelly Swan Taylor , Middle Grade, Mystery, Sports
Either the left one or the one on the right. Both are review copies. The one on the left doesn’t really have a date to be read but I do want to get started because I have had it since late April. And the one on the right is one I recently got from the author and I am so so hyped. I got to read that one before mid-June, so I got some time. It features mystery and notes and more. So I guess I will just throw a dice or something to make up my mind. XD
