Friday Face Off #5: 29-7-2022: Gigantic

Evening all!

It is FriYAY! Welcome all to a new Friday Face Off! This week we have the theme: Gigantic!

I was thinking hard on what I could use. I first wanted to use a manga, but I couldn’t remember the name and Google was pretty useless. In the end I went with a book that is pretty well-known to all. It features a cyclops and that does count for BIG and GIGANTIC right! It is a series I haven’t read, so far no motivation so not on any lists of mine, but who knows in the future I may check them out.

What is Friday Face Off? It’s a memepost created by Books by Proxy and now hosted on Books and Travelling by Lynn! The rules are fairly simple each week, following a predetermined theme (list below) choose a book (this doesn’t have to be a book that you’ve read), compare a couple of the different covers available for that particular book and choose your favourite.

For today’s book I selected the second book from the Percy Jackson series: The Sea of Monsters! Written by Rick Riordan! Featuring a cyclops at least, if we go by what several covers have on them, though there also seems to be plenty of waves and other monsters. So many waves and tridents. Oh my.

I am going for the cover without a creepy eye on it. I was kind of thinking of selecting one, but the more I look at them, the more unnerved I get, so um, I will just go for this face and the cute sheep. XD

A big big thanks to all for reading my post! Let me know in the comments what your choice would be and also if you know a book with something gigantic! Share the covers! I hope everyone has a great Friday and a fantastic weekend! Enjoy~
