Library Haul ~ 17-9-2022 (Library #1)
Afternoon all!
Happy weekend all and a warm welcome to a new Library #1 Haul!
So despite the weather being very weird I didn’t want to sit at home alone, my hubby is off for a work weekend/party thingie and having fun, so I decided to go to Library #1 and also walk around the city of Library #1 (still had the need of some items so I hoped to find them). I got a bit of rain while cycling to Library #1 but thankfully most of the trip was dry. Bless!
At Library #1 there was some sort of book event for a book about magic and magicians, it was a bit too busy for me (way too many people crammed together even with my mask on it was a no) otherwise I would have checked that out before going for books. So I just went to find books. I had room for 12 more as I still have 3 at home. 2 my hubby needs to read and 1 I am currently reading (Gallant EEP). I was hoping that I would find plenty of fun books. And now the question is. Did I?
OH heck yes. I am so excited, they added quite a few new English books including All These Bodies and This Poison Heart, both which I have been eyeing for a while now. Plus, I found plenty of other books that just had to go on the stack. A bit confusing was the book with the Less is Yes on it, that one is actually Magpie Society Book #1, no clue what happened there but next time I visit and I bring it back I will let them know, maybe they can fix it. I am also happy that they had Renske de Greef’s book because it was constantly loaned out everywhere and I really really really wanted to read it.
STATS: 12 books. 3 non-fiction, 9 fiction.
Carnival Lost by Kieran Larwood
This Poison Heart by Kalynn Bayron
The Amazing Edie Eckhart by Rosie Jones
Dwaalspoor by Ellen de Vriend
The story of Afro Hair by K.N. Chimbiri
All These Bodies by Kendare Blake
Say No to the Dress by Keren David
Hedgewitch by Skye McKenna
Magpie Society by Zoe Sugg
Op avontuur in Europa by Marlieke Kroon

All These Bodies sounds like a good spooky season read!
I know right! I have had my eyes on it for ages, so excited that it is in the library at the right time! 😍
