WWW Wednesday #33 ~ 7-9-2022
Good evening all!
Happy Wednesday! Whoo! It is time for a new WWW Wednesday~
So far the week has been decent. My hip has stopped hurting too much, still need to be careful of course, but I am already quite happy I can move around without too much pain. The weather is still warm and sticky but thanks to some lovely thunderstorms with tons of rain it has cooled down a bit. Still eagerly looking forward to cooler days (and nights). Hopefully on Friday I can do some gardening, because I have been gone for 3 weeks (vacation in August) and the weeds are everywhere. Also leaves, because the big tree outside my garden is dropping them and also the smaller tree in my garden.
About WWW Wednesdays: WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam of Taking on a World of Words. It is a fun way to show readers what you are reading, what you finished, what you want to read next.
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

This fun book! It is all about chickens! I would LOVE chickens… but I don’t have the room. Plus, with the food prices being as they are, not going to happen even if I had room. But I still love reading about it so I was excited when I saw this book pop up in the library. It is really fun with some personal stories, fun tidbits, and tons of information on chickens. Really, I knew there were many chickens, but oh boy! The book is also dotted throughout with cute photographs of the chickens. I absolutely loved (and maybe laughed a bit) the one with the author and the chicken.. sitting on his shoulder while he was working in the garden. XD

These two English graphic novels/manwha. The first is originally a webtoon and is about beauty and girl trying her hardest to keep her make-up and non-make-up side separate. It was a really fun read, at first I thought the girl was just pretty and well a bit shallow, but I really got to know her and see why she went this path. I am not sure how I feel about the girl added later, I guess we will see more of her in the next volume. Look forward to a review in October.
And the next one is a graphic novel with plenty of gore and blood. Love that it was black/white and that the only colour was red (aka blood). Really made things more gruesome. It was a great read about monsters, exterminators, and awesomeness. The ending was open though and that kind of ruined things for me. Look forward to this one being reviewed in October.

I’m going to have to add The Anime Chef Cookbook to my husband’s Christmas present!
I finished the book and it is tons of fun! Would make a great gift, hope he loves it!
