Spotify Book Tag

Afternoon all!

A happy welcome to a new tag! Say hi to the Spotify Book Tag!

I was thinking it would be fun to do a book tag again, but which one? I had several open, but this one just shouted the loudest at me, despite me not being that big of a fan of Spotify lately. It is either not working properly or just plays the same songs over and over again, or finds some atrocious songs that I would never listen to in my Discover Weekly. Hopefully Spotify works fine again soon. Still love the ease of the app and how fast you can find music.

I discovered this tag on Bookish Tiffany! Be sure to check out their answers! Original creator is someone named BookHookedNook, but they aren’t found online any more, so no links for that.

1. Hit Rewind: a book you go back to again and again?

I don’t really have one specific book that I re-read over and over again. So instead I will just list a book that I would love to read again:
Rent a Boyfriend, Glorio Chao, Pink, White Letters, Hug, Girl, Boy, Young Adult, Romance, Cute

2. Romantic Ballads: a book that gives you all those fluttery feels?

Patience & Esther: An Edwardian Romance, SW Searle, Blue, Bed, Fireplace, Girls, LGBT, Graphic Novel, Historical Fiction, Cute
This one! It is such a cute read about two girls working in the same house fall in love with each other. It gets quite steamy. And the two are just the cutest.

3. Release Radar: a new release book you are excited for?

The Greene Family #9.5 A Greene Family Christmas Piper Rayne, Romance, Christmas, Tree, Fireplace, Mantle, Socks, Romance, Multiple POV
I still have plenty of books left to read in this series, but if I can, I try to read them when they come out! This is the newest one and it is coming out in December and I am just freaking hyped about it! I cannot wait to see what this family gets up to in this new book!

4. Discover Weekly: a book you havenโ€™t read yet but want to discover?

Gross FACTopia!: Follow the Trail of 400 Foul Facts [Britannica] Paige Towler , Andy Smith, Non-Fiction, Humour, Gross, Children's Books, Yellow, Green, Pink

I absolutely loved the previous book in the series in which you follow a path and come across all sorts of fun (and sometimes weird) facts. This one is all about gross facts and while I am not sure if my stomach is OK with it, I cannot wait to read it!

5. Alone Again: your fave book genre to read on your own?

Thriller or Horror! Give a blanket, some hot tea, and don’t disturb me. XD

6. Alternative: an indie book or author everyone should read!

I actually have no idea about this one. So I went on Goodreads to see if there are lists with indie books, and apparently this one is an indie? Don’t throw eggs and such at me if it is wrong, I just have no clue because nowhere on a book is it listed that something is an indie and I just read books.

Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree , Fantasy, LGBT, Romance, Magic

7. Cheesy Hits: a book full of cheese that you just love?

I am not sure what that means? You mean a cheesy book? I am trying to think of one, but I just cannot think of it.

8. Summer Hits: a book you re-read every summer?

While I do re-read books, I don’t have a specific book for that season that I re-read.

9. Power Hour: an empowering feminist book or character you adore?

Sorry, I am not that into feminist books, generally try to avoid them. I may have read a few that weren’t overly OMG FEMINISM, but not in the mood to go find them. Nothing against feminism. But people just go WAY TOO FAR (knew someone who was a very extreme feminist) and that is why I am turned away from it all.

10. All Out 10โ€™s: list ten banging books!
Here we have 10 books randomly picked from my 5+ starred shelf.
