Hi, hello!

Welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates!! Whoo! Sunday~

It was a pretty good week! Not that much exciting stuff happened, but still a good week. Filled with the usual suspects like work/blogging/cleaning house but also with some baking, so much Sinterklaas baking. We don’t celebrate it, or well we used to, but with all the stuff around it these days we are turned away from it, but my hubby (and me as well though I cannot eat much thanks to the nutmeg that is everywhere) loves the food so I like to bake him (and me in smaller volumes) all the speculaas, pepernoten/kruidnoten, and more!
Reading-wise, a week of reading and DNF-ing books. I read from my stack which was tons of fun. Then there was Netgalley (and now I am down to 2). I read some of the picture books next to my bed (which were fun for most).

What did I read last week from my TBR? The Secret Life of an Uncool Mom (well, technically I am still reading this one, but almost done, this one is so so fun), The Search for Sasquatch (this was very fun and interesting to read), Het boek van OOOERRR (this was an interesting book and I wish I was a child again, haha), Is dit uw werk (sometimes a bit eh, but mostly a good read about cleaning up really big/scary/bloody things), Welkom op kasteel Vrekkenstein (meh, Geronimo should find a new family), Het spookt in Rome (this was oodles of fun, loved reading about Rome + getting a good mystery), De test voor de Toverschool (eee, finally we read about this school and I love it, the tests were fun), Geheim agent juf (eh, a bigger nope to saying YAY to crypto in a children’s book, wtf).

I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? Mysteries Wereldwijd (I had expected something more exciting, it was pretty boring), Gesprekken (the format of interview didn’t work for me), Lichtjaren (the same issue as the previous book), Introweek (tried the first chapter and just didn’t like any of the characters).

Here is a new stack of books! Some library books I still have left and 6 I need to get reading before next Saturday, or at least give them a try! I am very excited about my stack.
