WWW Wednesday #36 ~ 16-11-2022

Evening all!!!

A happy and fluffy welcome to a new WWW Wednesday!

So far the week is going pretty nicely. The weather is getting colder and colder and I am now adding a hat or a cute ear warmer to my need to wear if I am going outside outfit. XD Yesterday I baked some new treats. One is a cookie that went well but is a bit too sweet, so less sugar next time. The other is a cake with a crumb on top, however after the required 25 minutes it was still pudding, so I had to add many many more minutes and while it is still yummy… the pieces of kruidnoten I added… are gone. XD Next time I will try a higher temp then the required one and see if that works. Other than that. Read, worked, blogged, refreshed the doggo site (Ik zoek baas), walked, and did much more. Haha. Tomorrow going to visit Library #1 and I am hyped about it. They apparently renovated a part of their library and I am curious to see what they changed/how it looks now. And as for this evening, well reading and Genshin Impact are on the agenda. And trying not to fall asleep. XD

About WWW Wednesdays: WWW WednesdayΒ is a meme hosted by Sam ofΒ Taking on a World of Words. It is a fun way to show readers what you are reading, what you finished, what you want to read next.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Spirit Week by Ira Marcks , Ghosts, Horror, The Shining, Graphic Novel, Men, Women, Hotel, Snow, Curse, Mystery, SurviveReizen Waes Vlaanderen Tom Waes, Non-Fiction, Travelling, Belgium, Guy, Map
These two books! The one on the left is a graphic novel about the Underlook Hotel + The Shining so I am very very hyped about it. The other book is a Dutch book, I recently read his book about travelling through the Netherlands and wanting to read all his books, so here were are. This time he is travelling through Belgium, his country. I cannot wait to see what kind of fun things he discovers there.
Recently Finished, WWW Wednesday, Reading, Books, Rainbow, Plant
Alice and the Nightmare, Vol. 1 Michelle Krivanek , Isabelle Melançon, Alice in Wonderland, Retelling, Magic, Fantasy, Suits, Girl, Red, Dreams, Jabberwocky, Awesome, Graphic NovelFinding Familiars: A Familiar Finders Society Book Tim Devine, Leo Assis, Picture Book, Cute, Magic, Fantasy, Animals,
I picked these two books as I had the most fun reading them! The one on the left is a whole different look in the Alice in Wonderland story with all sorts of fun world-building, dreams, magic, and Alice going to college/university. I bought it a few weeks ago during a sale. It was so much fun to read, at first a bit confusing, but quite soon I was totally invested. Alice is such a fun character, sweet, bubbly, kind. But we can also see that something is wrong with her (she has to take potions and during some classes things go a bit strange). I am very curious about what is happening next. The art is real pretty. Look forward to a review December/January. Then next is an adorable fantasy book about imagination and familiars and I just adored it. Sadly, my copy from Amazon was a misprint but the author was kind enough to give me a PDF as well so I could read it properly, thanks! I really loved the art and the story was cute and creative. Look forward to a review tomorrow!

Not sure yet! I still got around 10 books on my Netgalley which I all want to read. Last week books I bought from Amazon came in. AND I visited Library #2/#3 on Saturday and also got a ton of books to read from that. For now a Top 3 is a blend of the 3: Excuse me While I Disappear (essays about midlife from Netgalley), The Day I Got Trapped in My Brain (children’s humour book, my own book), Fontana Banana (magic and fun children’s book from Library #2).
