A new adventure with Ruffles! This time he has a red coat/sweater and he is not having it!

I absolutely love the Ruffles book I read before this one. In that one he had new additions to the family, a group of cute kittens! I really wanted to read more Ruffles, and thankfully there was another book. Not in English, but in Dutch. But since I love this book so much and want to share that love, I will be writing my review in English.

Say hi to Ruffles (or Snuffel as he is called in Dutch). He likes all sorts of things. From playing to sleeping to running and howling. He is 100% dog and 100% puppers. It is adorable. But Ruffles has one thing he doesn’t like. The red coat/sweater he has to wear now it is colder and raining. So he just goes outside without! I had such a laugh at seeing this adorable dog go all out in the puddles and in the rain and even meets his best friend. I don’t know her English name, but her Dutch one is Roos. I adored that Roos was wearing a similar coat like Ruffles. Yes, she is fine with it. Which made me laugh. Dogs are really like kids sometimes. XD

What happens next, oh dear Ruffles. I could have told you this would happen. What did you think? That your owners did this to bully you? Oh no, that coat is bought with love and care. The ending made me giggle and smile! So cute!

I so hope that, when I get a dog, it will like the coats and sweaters I get, or that they meet a Roos kind of dog that helps them understand. I will be sure to let you all know how it goes. When I get a dog. By the time this review goes live at the end of October I will either be still searching or I will be having a puppers of my own. Crossing fingers!

The illustrations were so cute and fun!

All in all, a fun book about a dog not wanting to wear his coat/sweater and finding out that maybe it isn’t that bad. A bit of repetition, but all the cuteness make up for it. I hope there will be more books featuring this adorable pupper.
