Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 1-1-2023

Hey!

Bakemonogatari, Books, Gif, Red Books, Girl, Boy, Diving/Jumping, Anime

A warm welcome to a new shiny TBR Updates! And the very first of 2023!!

This week was oodles of fun! Christmas! Vacation! Lots of fun activities with my hubby! Relaxing! Reading! A dash of blogging (and getting sad because apparently Bloglovin is dead and I was so proud of reaching 1000 followers this year after 8+ years of blogging, now I am back to 705). Cuddling extra with the hamsters. Yep, I am enjoying my vacation. Still a bit stressed, but I got another week-ish of vacation so I can relax some more and get it to good levels again.
So I read a ton. Haha. It was great!

What did I read last week from my TBR? The Bigwoof Conspiracy (OHHHHH, this was so good and spooky and fun, and OMG NOPE clowns), Sporen & Vondsten (very interesting to read and I learned a bit of new things), Indigo Wilde (fun and ice creamy with some fun new monsters and great adventure), Echte Duiven (soooo fun, I laughed so much and I loved the villains), Tuinman Priknetel (haha, this was silly and fun), Ninjago (this was a pretty good adventurous read, still love how different Wu is from now), Catstronauts (this was fun, I love it when AI go craycray), Raadsel van de verloren krachten (too bad another inconclusive book that is promoted as full story, it was fun but it missed a lot), Lizzie (hilarious with snakes and chaos though I still am not liking how the parents are worshipping their son), Welkom bij de club (a sweet book about divorce and making friends), I am not a label (super interesting, gorgeous art, loved the representations (though wish there was more sides to autism), Perron Papegaaien (often very interesting and fun, but sometimes depressing because plastic and climate change), The Book is full of brains (this was oodles of brainy fun), Gif (loved it, though not a big fan of the fiction stories in between), Het geheim van Beukensteyn (the little brother was annoying, but I loved this story and found it very fun).

I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? Mary (dang that writing style was just way too much), Krakkie (meh), Mijn wereld mijn hart (just didn’t work for me).

Here is a new stack! So excited about these books~ Not listed are my Christmas books, those are downstairs and I wasn’t in the mood to get them all upstairs to my attic library and then back down again. XD

Thank you all for reading and I hope everyone is enjoying this first day of the year! Enjoy! Let me know in the comments what you are reading/what your plans are/what you think of my stack~ Stay safe~
