Waiting on Wednesday ~ Chloe and the Kaishao Boys by Mae Coyiuto

Eveninnnggg~

A fluffy and happy welcome to a new Waiting on Wednesday! It is Wednesday! The weekend is coming~

For today I picked a book that would fit with this week’s theme, romance, Valentine’s Day! I am eagerly waiting for Chloe and the Kaishao Boys by Mae Coyiuto!

It sounds so much fun! 🥰 OK, arranged dates can be a bit on the eh-side, but it seems that Chloe doesn’t mind it too much, even falling in love with one! I just cannot wait to see Chloe’s family, see the traditional debut, hopefully see plenty of dates with lots of humour and a dash of romance, and I am so so curious who she is going to pick, plus what she will do after the summer, because college or stay home? I also like the cover, you can really see her think about all the hot guys she met. XD

Now I just got to wait until March, and maybe even longer as I don’t see a paperback just yet.

Chloe and the Kaishao Boys Mae Coyiuto, Young Adult, Dating, Romance, Dates, Cute, Family, Flowers, Girl, BoysWhen Dimple Met Rishi meets Loveboat, Taipei in this hilarious YA rom-com about a Chinese-Filipina girl in Manila whose father sets her up on a marathon of arranged dates in hopes of convincing her to stay close to home for college.

Chloe is officially off the waitlist at USC, and thus one step closer to realizing her dream of becoming an animator in the United States. But before she leaves home, her auntie insists on planning a traditional debut for Chloe’s eighteenth birthday (think sweet sixteen meets debutante ball). To make matters worse, her father, intent on finding Chloe the perfect escort for the party, keeps setting her up on one awkward kaishao—or arranged date—after another. But . . . why does her dad suddenly care so much about her love life? And what happens when she actually starts to fall for one of the guys, only to have to leave at the end of the summer?
