Review for Sweat and Soap / Ase to Sekken, Vol.4

Sweat and Soap, Vol. 4 Kintetsu Yamada, Manga, Sex, Romance, Cute, Adorable, Soap, Hug, Man, WomanThe fourth volume and some big steps are taken + some sweet scenes! Really enjoyed this one~

I am not crying, there is just some dust in my eyes. OH MY GOSH, what a volume. I was already hoping for them to move further, but didn’t expect them to talk about moving together. Which is a big step and we see how that affects Asako, but thankfully Natori? He is fine (well after he had a good conversation with some friends + Asako, because he was worried he had gone too fast). He will wait. He is giving Asako all the time to work through her fears and anxiety. And in the meantime they are making plans. What they want. Their ideas of how it will work. What house, and more. Loved it! And you could just see that Asako is getting more comfortable with the idea. It may not happen soon, but she is starting to look forward to it.

And then there is the making the relationship not so secret which I loved. I loved the girl’s lunch (with the boss) and the dinner with Natori’s colleagues and friends. I had such a laugh when people at the office wondered why the boss was allowed on the girl’s lunch. 😂 The dinner with Natori started out a bit awkward, but she quickly found out why these are his friends/closest colleagues. I wasn’t sure how I felt about seeing Ichise afterwards, I mean, seriously girl you had your chances.

There are some sexy and swoony times that made me smile and happy for this couple!

I am also happy to see the brother again, though I hope that he will go a bit easier on Natori. XD And I am curious to see what actions Natori is going to do based on what he heard from the brother. Oh boy.

Again, I am also so happy that we have an adult couple who TALK. Is something up? They talk, or at least make it known that something is up and that they struggle. I love it. Too many times in manga or books with romance and adults we have the miscommunication trope or that people suddenly forget how to talk to their partner. So I am delighted to see these two chat about everything. From future to now worries.

There is also plenty more and I just adored this volume. It was all fun, so happy that the publisher brought out a 6 volume boxset!
