Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 30-4-2023
Hi hi hi~
Happy Sunday! Welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates~ WHOO!
This week was quite busy! Haha. On Wednesday we had our first puppy training in real life which was very fun but also exhausting as Coco was just so hypa (and it was also quite early in the morning so Mehsi.exe was not yet that awake). On Thursday it was King’s Day so getting up early so we could visit the flea market in town (which was open from 10 to 12), in the afternoon we saw a horse event and got some churros (YUM). On Saturday we visited both the libraries. And then there was the daily stuff as well. So yeah, today, this Sunday, I am just taking it very very easy. Sleeping. Reading. Gaming. More sleeping.
Reading-wise, a pretty good week! Making my way through my current physical TBR, reading some library books, and also reading from my King’s Day book haul (I found 14 English graphic novels).
What did I read last week from my TBR? Warren the 13th (OOHHH, so fun), Murder at the Museum (I really enjoyed this one, good mystery, great illustrations), Girl Called Justice (new character was a bit annoying, but fun mystery and yay for boarding school), Rechercheur de Klerck (OK-ish).
I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? De eerlijke vinder (obsession with his friend.. too much, same for the flippos), Which Way to Anywhere (meh, too much like her previous series), Tussen Agaves en citroenen (writing style didn’t click for me), Stoverij met frieten (not in the mood), Juniper (annoying annoying annoying).
Here is a new stack! With new library books, older library books, and the remainder of my physical TBR I need to read before I can start my new stack~
Thank you all for reading, and I hope everyone has a great week/day! Enjoy, stay safe! Oh, and be sure to let me know what looks good from my stack + what you are reading this week!
