My favorite French foods would have to be the divine fresh French bread with butter and ham-the traditional French baguette ham sandwich is my favorite “street food’ in Paris! You also cannot miss the delectable escargot, I know it sounds frightening, but eating French snails is actually a delicacy; drenched in butter and garlic, they are amazing, trust me!
Macaroons are one of my favorite desserts and no one does it better than the French themselves! Try the Lavender ones! Delish! Don’t miss the two cutest neighborhoods in Paris-Saint Germain de Pres charming and teeming with great shopping, hole in the wall bars, cafes and its walkability is wonderful and Montmontre- an authentic village in the heart of Paris. Winding cobblestone streets with darling cafes, restaurants and the not to be missed is the Sacré-Coeur, the Catholic basilica that sits on the highest hill in Paris. The Luxembourg Gardens are my absolute favorite place to wander aimlessly throughout this stunning park in the middle of Paris observing the manicured gardens, mansions and families playing petanque enjoying the sunshine. This is where my husband proposed to me, so perhaps I may be biased!?
Around every corner, Paris delights all your senses. It’s a stunning city to create wonder and feel alive!
