Library Haul ~ 4-5-2023 (Library #1)

Afternoon all!

A happy welcome to a new Library #1 Haul!! I decided it was time to visit again (+ I wanted to get something in that city).

First up, YES, it was finally some good good weather! I kept wondering when Spring would finally arrive, well this week seems to be a good week for that. Haha. Can you imagine, it is May and it has felt chilly all the time. My hubby and I even joked that it was just another February month instead of April/May. But now we finally have some good good weather. Well, OK, today it is a nice temperature but there is rain and thunderstorms coming. But yesterday? Yesterday was just pure bliss cycling to the city.

On to the library! I was worried it would be very busy because it is May vacation for the kids, so I thought it would be overly full, but it was actually super calm. Just a few kids, mostly there were students studying~ I had fun going through the library and finding new books! Not that much was found, well, OK, 9 is a respectable number, but given my last few hauls (before the previous one) this one just feels a bit lacklustre. 🙈 I am still very happy with the books I found, including the “In Birkenau” book which I just was so hyped to find, I am always interested in WWII books and given what this month means in my country (though why we are not free on this day I don’t get) I am even more excited (is that the right word) to find this book.

I cannot wait to start reading these books~

STATS: 9 books. 3 non-fiction, 6 fiction.
