Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 28-5-2023

Greetings all~

Bakemonogatari, Books, Gif, Red Books, Girl, Boy, Diving/Jumping, Anime

Welcome welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates!! It’s Sunday!

This week was mostly just your normal week, puppy stuff, work stuff, blog stuff, chores, more stuff. But I also visited Library #1 and #4, did some yummy baking and gardening, and also had a bit of a bad health week. I stopped with a medicine I had for 4 years because it just wasn’t making me feel good (mentally especially) and well, the first days, PHEW. Yes, I visited Library #1 in this week, but you don’t want to know how I felt afterwards. BLEH. Now on Sunday I feel better, also noticing a very small bit of change mentally (and in the better direction). So yeah!
But since I wasn’t feeling too well, that meant also plenty of reading was done between everything and Monday and Tuesday was also just relaxing/sitting down and not doing much. I also tried out some books I still had on Netgalley, some I DNF-ed, others were GOOD!

What did I read last week from my TBR? Chainsaw man #6 (WOW), Club van Mysteriejagers (can we just have a GS without someone who bullies him? But fun adventure), De bende van Ratstad (fun fun fun), Ai, een haai! (fun and interesting, though I had expected just a bit more), Het oog van Ra (exciting!), Groep 8 rocks (nostalgia and tons of fun with so many short stories), 24 uur (exciting, gruesome, WOW), Slurpen zonder grenzen (I laughed so much, loved this one and now I want wine), Fearless (interesting and gorgeously illustrated), De filosoof (pretty interesting/fun to read), Bob vs the Selfie Zombies (hahahahahahhaha), Spongebob Mysteries (this read like an episode of it, love it), I’m in Love with the Villainess (snortsThis was adorable and fun though the MC did get a bit cringe), Zombie 100 (ohhhh dinosaurs and sake, GOO), Yotsuba (aww, so fun and cute, but also made me sad a bit), Everyday Escape (love these girls and there escapes), Day in the life… (I love the format and it was an interesting and good read), Cheetah (OH MY GOSH, this was hilarious, love those snails).

I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? No Exit (not for me in the end, I guess one has to sympathise with these bullies, well heck no), Limonade maak ik zelf (imagination is fun, but this was just too much), B&B (yawn).

Here is a new stack, featuring tons of manga, new library books from #1 and #4, and more of my physical books from April! I cannot wait to start reading these~ Oh, and not listed is The Book of Cold Cases, I just started that one! I thought I would have more time but I didn’t. My Saturday was just too crammed with things.

A big thank you all for reading! Be sure to let me know in the comments what you think of my stack + what you will be reading this week! I hope everyone has a great/fab week, stay safe~
