Review for Sweat and Soap / Ase to Sekken, Vol.6

Sweat and Soap, Vol. 6 Kintetsu Yamada, Romance, Manga, Hug, Cooking, Cute, Drama, Birthday, ScentWe are halfway in the series, this time living together, some dumb drama, dates, humour, and more! I had so much fun~

The last one I still had to read from the boxset! This series is just so good!

In this one several events happen, it is Asako’s birthday and Kotaro has planned some great things that I just loved. I also loved that he was thinking of making a special gift for her, something that is truly a gift from him. But how do you make such a special gift without letting your girl know what you are making? Well, you take her to a special perfume shop with all sorts of scents and take note of what she likes (and well also ask for a list). I just loved it, and I also loved how eager he was for her to find a sweet scent that she loves. Something she could wear at special occasions. And the rest of the birthday was also fun.. well until the end (see later paragraph).

There is also Valentine’s Day, and I could fully understand Asako at that point. Haha, I still remember buying sexy lingerie for my now-hubby.

And of course our couple is also finally moving in together! Getting everything packed at both their places and then unpacking it and finding some new items for the house. It was very fun and I was so happy for our couple that they finally were able to make this big step! I was happy with the house they picked and I loved how they made it their own. And then it is getting used to it, and I am happy that Asako had someone to talk to because she was wondering if she was doing everything all right, Kotaro was just doing so much and barely gave Asako the chance to do something. Haha, I could definitely understand Asako wondering if this was normal or not. Loved the reaction of her friend.

There are also plenty of steamy/spicy and sweet moments between our couple and I love those~

But I was just not as happy, because of how Kotaro reacted when that happened during the birthday. I could get it, but it was a bit over the top. I mean, she was just being polite, didn’t think anything about it, I would probably also just unconsciously accept such a thing. And then he just goes moody. I am glad they did talk, but I didn’t like how he put the blame for most at her. And then have sex. Which just felt uncomfortable. More like he wanted to make sure she was his. Eww.

There was some more drama but I was also so proud of my girl to speak her mind, yes the public park wasn’t the best place, but hey, sometimes you need to let it all out. It was time for that one. And I am glad that after that they did have a good chat and were able to figure things out. Both were able to say their excuses (well, especially Kotaro with how he acted).

But all in all, despite the drama which at points felt unnecessary, I had a lot of fun with this volume and now it is just hoping that I can get the boxset with the other books soon (as of writing this one mid-April and it is not available on Amazon cries). I would recommend this series so far to all!
