Top 10 Books May 2023

Afternoon all!

May 2023, Reading, Books, Top 10

A happy welcome to a new Top 10 post! It is time!

This month, well, just like April and March, just flew by without me noticing. It just doesn’t feel like it is June! Or well, almost June as I am writing this one on the 30th of May. Haha.

But it was a good month, with a puppy who can be both our angel and our devil, she is doing well in puppy training, we have bought a new dog leash, one that allows her to be a bit more free and we definitely do notice that she is walking better when we use that one. Less pulling. Less struggle. More happy humans and dogs. She is still growing well and eating all the yummy foods (and some foods she should not eat, LORD, look away one second and she will be chewing on something or another). I need to buy her a new comb, we have been using a normal doggo one, but with her curly hairs and the tangles she has, I want to get a Tangle Teezer, just for dogs! So I am going to be getting them soon~ Plus, I want to see if I can find a hoop or something because she loves to jump around. And I want to learn her some new tricks, like paw (at the moment she gets it 1 out of 10 tries, the other tries means a wet hand as she just slobbers you).
Next to cute doggo there was Eurovision, friends visiting and yummy new beers tried out. There was baking and gardening (so much gardening). There were walks and they are getting longer which is a blessing. Back in March and April we couldn’t go that far, but now we can go for around 17-20 minutes as she is now 19 weeks. Whoo! I cannot wait until she is older and can walk even further, I just love walking and while we can let her be alone for a bit, it is just not long enough to go somewhere with my hubby and take a walk.
Reading-wise a good month! I started reading my April books because I was finally done with my older TBR and I am having fun with that. I also made my way through my Netgalley! And I read plenty of fun library books + manga from my Kodansha haul~

This month I had ONE 5+ starred books and ELEVEN 5 starred books. A pretty good month, I am happy~
