Sunday’s TBR Updates ~ 16-7-2023
Hi all!

Welcome all to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates! Happy Sunday!
This as a pretty normal week again, thankfully the temperatures are a bit more normal here, for most, haha. It wasn’t a boring week, there were some fun moments! On Thursday I visited Library #1 and got a nice stack of new books plus I found some new clothes on sale at H&M so I am super-happy. On Saturday I did a lot of baking (Spanish muffins along with two kinds of cookies), and our best friend popped by, now he has a soon-to-be-build home he needs to think of his bathroom and that meant a little roadtrip to the one specifically doing things for that building. It was a fun afternoon and turned from checking tiles to actually going for a bathroom tile/colour! To celebrate that we had a fun evening with beer and movies~
Coco is doing OK-ish, we think she may be getting into that period of time (being in heat) as she is barely eating, has levelled up in how much she wants to be near us, and some other signs. We are keeping an eye on things, but we may just call the doctor to ask how we are going to get some food in her. If anyone of my readers has any good ideas to get some food in her, let me know!
Reading-wise: Pretty good week! I finished the Kimetsu no Kaiba series~ I read some ARCs~ I DNF-ed some ARCs/other books~
What did I read last week from my TBR? De Heks in Mij (good mystery, but the characters were all ARGH), Kerst op Carnton (gorgeous and wonderful), Chainsaw Man (WTF???? This series is going downhill), Monsterhaai (SHARKKK! Witches! Whoo), Nijntje x Vermeer (this was cute + educational), Kattenbaasjes (SO cute!).
I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? How to survive Time Travel (yeah, no thank you to bullies), Verkeersverhalen (this was just not my cup of tea), Haunted (the writing style didn’t click).
Here is a new stack! Murder at the Bookstore is not on it as I am currently reading it/just started it! On this stack you will find some own books (including a new one that came in this week) and new books from Library #1 and a few older Library books! I am excited about this stack of books, cannot wait to dig in.

Thank you all for reading! I hope everyone has an amazing week/day, stay safe and hydrated (especially if you are in the hotter parts of the world right now), let me know what you think of my stack + what you are planning on reading yourself~ 🥳🌟💕
