A happy welcome to a new Top 10 books of June! WOW, where did June go?

It was a pretty OK month with a few fun moments! My hubby and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary (and 14 years total together) with a fun day at the zoo with yummy dinner afterwards, it did rain so we got very wet but that is OK we had a good day, haha. A friend of ours bought a home and we celebrated that. Coco is doing well, she is losing her teeth so she is a bit grumbly at times but we can forgive that. I mean, switches teeth is no fun. We are almost done with puppy training, just one more lesson to go. She has learned some new things, like now she can close small doors/kitchen cabinets now as we have taught her touch. It is just so adorable to see! There were some very hot and humid days and while my body wasn’t that happy I also enjoyed it because the past few months just felt like winter/fall version 2 or 3. 🤣 Sadly,😭 most of my newer plants didn’t survive the heat, I tried giving them plenty of water when I could but I just couldn’t keep up with how fast it just disappeared, plus the sun was burning so hard on my plants. Maybe next year some parasols? Or waiting a bit longer with new plants? I don’t know yet. And I really need to pick up baking again, I baked two or three times this month, once to celebrate my best friends new house with some yummy muffins, and then I also made tons of cookies. I should just get back in the rhythm of baking something each week.

Reading-wise, well an OK month, with plenty of fun reads! From my TBR to my library hauls. Though I got in a bit of a slump x2. If you want to call it that. For the past days (and earlier this month) I have been just reading manga. All the manga. Or anything with mostly pictures. I have tried books with words but they just won’t stick. Oh well, I got plenty of manga!

This month I had TWO 5+ starred books and TEN 5 starred books. A decent month! Though I had to use some 4.5 starred books as well because 6 of these belonged to series (4 from Kaiju and 2 from Sweat and Soap). I don’t mind that, I got some GREAT 4.5 starred books.

Disclaimer: The order of this list is random. The 5+ stars (if I have any) will always be on top, but that is the only non-randomness about the list.
