Bookish Mail ~ Luke’s Apocalypse: Zero Day by A.P. Shepherd + Legends & Latte by Travis Baldree KS
Afternoon all!
Welcome to a new Bookish Mail/Swag Haul post! Yesterday I received two fun packages (well one was a package and the other was an envelope with goodies).
One is from A.P. Shepherd and features a signed copy of his book! I read his book recently (bought it on Kindle) and really really liked his book (read my review here if you want to know more deets, it is a zombie/apocalypse novel). The author found my review, he loved it, and wanted to give me a signed copy of the book, I couldn’t say no of course. Well, OK, to be honest I was a bit hesitant but that is mostly because customs in my country just suck. I once had a book come in from the US that I would have to pay 18+ euro for to get it to my home address 😵. But the author was really kind and I can tell you that the package managed to slip through the customs and arrive without any costs at my home. Which was a surprise haha as I hadn’t expected it to arrive without trouble. My hubby and I came home and had to pick up from the neighbours and were both wondering what it could be. I just have to show it to you all because I love how much effort the author did! A big big thank you to the author! 💝😍💕💝😍💕
In this package we have a signed copy of the book along with a very sweet message (once again you are very welcome) + a letter with even more kind words + some yummy looking gummies that I cannot wait to try out!
And then next up is the Kickstarter goodies for the Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree Kickstarter! I sadly couldn’t do the pins due to the high shipping it would then have, but I did get the gorgeous bookmark (with my sweet couple along with an autograph and lots of shininess) + stickers and I just NEED to share these with you along with the supercool envelope (which is a bit ripped as the sticky stuff holding it was too strong and it wouldn’t open neatly). Sadly, the card about the Kickstarter was a tad late, haha. That one is over already. They do have a late pledge, but with shipping + customs things will get too much. A shame, but the book will be going on my TBR as it looks so cool!
