Library Haul ~ 21-9-2023 (Library #1)
Afternoon all!
Welcome all to a new Library #1 Haul! A big big thank you to my hubby for bringing me to the library~
Because I needed some books. But the weather was terrible + I am still sickish (my stomach is still upset about a lot of things). So I asked my hubby if he could drive to Library #1 in the evening (bless a library that is open until 11pm) so I could search for some new books! So a big big shout-out to my lovely husband, thank you!
It was delightfully calm and quiet at the library, I guess that is an advantage when one visits at around 7-8 pm. Haha. I had fun walking around the library and checking out all my favourite spots. The new releases shelves held quite a few books, and I managed to pick a few up. Some I might get later on, a book about Amsterdam through 80 novels set in Amsterdam did sound fun, but my mind was just not there for it now. So hopefully it is there next time!
After that it was time to visit the children’s department and I was missing some tables with new releases, maybe they get moved out of the way after certain hours? But I did manage to find some new releases that I wanted to read! AND AND! They finally had the first Zelda manga volumes! WHOO! After months of waiting!
Haha, at one point I had to go in the dark to find some books. Their picture book department was all dark and seemed closed off, but there was still some way to get there and I am happy I decided to just go into the dark because I found some fun picture books. And then I wanted to stay because it was just way too bright and full of light where my hubby was standing. 😆
So as you can read, I had a ton of fun getting all the books! Plus, I definitely liked it that I had someone who filled my bag with books when I checked them out/loaned them. Makes it much easier, no need to do tetris this time! 🙈
I cannot wait to get reading! I got so many fab books! EEP!

Woo hoo your husband is the best!! I would love it if my library stayed open until 11….that would be fantastic. I LOL’d when you wrote of loading your bag with books and playing tetris!😂I have been there. I hope your stomach issues go away Mehsi and you have an excellent and relaxing weekend! Try not to stress and worry. Stress can really mess you up, body wise.📚💜📚💜

Same, I wish other libraries were open that long, most of them close around 5-6 pm, but this library is just the best!🥰🥰 Haha, glad I am not alone with the tetrissing books into a bag, wouldn’t it be great if you just looked the stack and poof books are in the bag all neat?🌟 Thank you Susan, hopefully soon. Thanks, I got plans to visit Library #2 and #3, which may be a bit much, but books need to go back. I hope you also have an amazing weekend with great reads! Thank you, I am trying my best not to stress, but with my adhd/autism at times it is just hard to turn my brain off. 🙈
