Welcome all to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates! It is Sunday, and where is the time going?

This week was pretty good actually. The weather was confusing mix between summer warmth (the sun) and autumn cold (rain and the wind), I hope the weather decides what it wants soon, because at this point I don’t know if I should wear something short or 2 layers. 😆 I visited some libraries (#2 + #3 yesterday and #4 on Friday). A friend popped by yesterday for drinks and fun and it was a lot fun (though my body found 3-4 am a bit too late to go to bed and didn’t wake up from the dead until 1pm, haha). Oh, and I had a fun baking afternoon on Friday because my hubby was away to his work and I have a brand shiny new baking book full of cookies! My neighbours, my hubby, my stomach, and our friend were all very happy with this. Other than that I kept my days mostly easy, especially after last week’s way too much doing everything I could.
Reading-wise, a good good week as well. Read spooky books, read some non-spooky books, read some ARCs.

What did I read from my TBR? Zombie 100 #9 (oh oh oh this was so good), Tales to Keep You up at Night (loved this one though at times I found the revenge to go a bit too far), We’re Going on a Ghost Hunt (this was adorable and spoopy), Ruimtegekte (almost done and enjoying it a lot), Monster op het spoor (this was fun and I liked the mystery), No Escape (I flew through it, but it just seemed to miss something, I had expected more), Colorado Train (weird/strange/at times eww, but the ending completely ruined it for me).

I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? Vampyria (I really enjoyed this for a chunk, but then things happened and I was just turned away), Het Lot van de Roos (the writing style didn’t grab me), De acht avonturiers (this is book 1??? It was so confusing and felt like further in the series), De laatste jager (eh, pretty art but the story didn’t click).

Here is a new shiny stack with new library books I got yesterday + some more spooky books I hope to read this upcoming week! I am excited about this stack, it looks so good!
