Welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates~ Happy Sunday and weekend to all!
This week was pretty OK, busy as always, but a good week! The usual stuff happened. Along with Coco getting out of her romper on Tuesday eve after a successful laparoscopy the Tuesday before that. I visited Libraries #1 and #4. I made sure my garden was happy again by cleaning up leaves and donating them in spots of the garden that could use a blanket of warmth + cutting/snipping the plants. I was planning on baking, but I didn’t make it, but then on Saturday I still baked. Yes, long story short, a best friend was all about making something for us this time when he would visit on Saturday eve… but his cookies just weren’t a success. So, I made some quick cupcakes for us all. Haha. I am planning on making more Sinterklaas foods this upcoming week, Speculaas and such. Mmm!
Reading-wise, a pretty good week! Had fun going through my TBR (though it was a bit hit/miss), reading books on Netgalley, and reading books I didn’t have on that TBR, haha, welcome to being a mood reader.
What did I read from my TBR? Exit 13 (SOOO GOOD), Death at the Lighthouse (another fun and interesting mystery and I loved the island), Scarewaves (WOW WOW WOW), Niko & Nico (good but also weird), Esmeralda (cute and adorable), De school van wonderdingen (ohh I loved this one! I want a bag like the kids have.), Wil jij mijn kamer zien (so much fun).
I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? Klappertanden (the MC was infuriating), IQ (meh), Het huis ontploft (not a fan of the characters), Water trappelen (boring and weird writing style), Zoooo happy (didn’t like the MC).
Here is a new stack full of books! I cannot wait to get to reading these~
And that is it! Wish me luck on this new stack (especially with the Polly book I am going to be trying ONE last time) and let me know in the comments what you will be reading this week~ I hope everyone has a wonderful week + Sunday, stay safe~
