Afternoon all!

A very EXCITED welcome to my Top 15 Books of 2023! Welcome to the first part of it and look forward to part two coming in 8 hours~

It wasn’t easy to select how many books I would pick, but then I suddenly had an idea! I had 25 books that were my 5+ rated ones, aka the ultimate favourites of 2023. Why not do a Top 15 and then add the other 10 as honourable mentions! SO here we are. First up showing you 8 books + 5 honourable mentions and then the next part is the other 7 favourites + 5 more honourable mentions! That way I can still share all my favourites, but still split between ultimate-ultimate favs and ultimate favs, haha. If that makes sense.

I won’t be mentioning how much I read this year, or any year. But I had a very good reading year! I found new books, new manga series, and more. I continued with older series which either made me sad because a series is over or excited because a new book is coming next year! I read some fantastic horror books that really stuck with me, some great children/picture books that made me laugh, cry, gasp, and more, and found some new non-fictions to enjoy (including several in series). I cannot wait to see what next year will bring! Eep!

I would HIGHLY recommend all these books, they were just a delight, scared the wits out of me or introduced new fears (thanks again to Puppets in the Wall for that), made me laugh so much, made me ship ship and ship (Flip the Script, swoon), made me smile.

NOTE: The order is random, I just wouldn’t be able to pick one book over another. It was already hard enough to pick 15 books to fully feature and then 10 honourable mentions.
