What happens when a 30-year old virgin who has magical powers finds out that a co-worker loves him!

This is one of the books in the latest Humble Bundle, the one for Kobo. I was cautiously optimistic about this one. It is yaoi, and I have had just a few too many yaoi featuring rape, consent is very far to find, abuse, and other things. I was hoping that this would just be wholesome, cute, and fun, and I can tell you, yes! This is an adorable, funny, supersweet manga and I am just rooting for this couple (and a couple later on).

Remember the whole thing that states that if a guy is 30 and still a virgin he becomes a wizard? Well this story takes that and adds romance! In this one we meet Adachi, a 30 year old virgin and he can read minds! Which isn’t easy as we can see and I felt for the guy because HECK I already get overwhelmed by not mindreading, can you imagine if you are in a busy situation AND can read all the minds. NOPE. And what happens when one of the minds you read is your co-worker.. and what if he is really interested in you? I just laughed the first them he was able to read his co-workers mind and was confused who he meant and then found out it was him. And so begins a hilarious and funny manga with two great guys who are just meant to be together and I love seeing them get closer together. I also love that Adachi was staying near Kurosawa, I mean, a lot of people would have probably just ran away/find another job, but he stayed.

Kurosawa is such a good guy, and while his fantasies are mostly tame, that one with the pyjamas or some other thoughts had me laughing. Oh dude, you are in deep. I was proud that he wasn’t acting on his thoughts. That really made me happy. He gave Adachi space. Made sure to have the right boundaries, and all that. One time he had me a bit worried, but he held himself in and stepped away. Good job!

Oh, and interestingly, thoughts can also manifest as pictures, can you imagine how embarrassing that is. 🤣🙈

I loved that last chapter with the two of them and what happened there. Oh MY.

I loved that the last bit of the manga featured Adachi’s friend. The one who was so dismissive about him gaining powers because he was a 30-year virgin. Until the moment he turns 30 and can suddenly mindread as well. Which means he can now read the thoughts of the hot delivery guy. And I just hope that in the next volumes we get more with these two because HECK they are just adorable and cute!

I really love the art as well, it is so fun, cute, and fits so well with the story.

All in all, I would recommend this to all! Hopefully by the time this review goes live in mid-February I will have read the other volumes I still have left in the bundle!
