Library Haul ~ 29-2-2024 (Library #1)

Afternoon all!

A very happy welcome to a new Library #1 Haul! I got some new books yesterday cheers.

OK, the weather was clearly not into that, haha. It was cold and wet outside. I thought it would be OK because it was only light rain… but on the way there SWOOSH it started pouring. The things this bookworm does for books, haha.

I was glad when I arrived at Library #1 and didn’t mind the warmth this time round, in fact, bring more warmth! I had a lot of fun walking through the library and checking out all the various places, this time though I mixed it up a bit, instead of going to the non-fiction first I went to the adult fiction section first to see if they had some new books, I was eagerly waiting for two or so books, so hoping to find them (they weren’t there). After that I checked the non-fiction and the children/YA sections. And I kept finding books, haha.

There was even a quest for a comic book, but sadly neither me nor the librarian had any luck finding it. I did find a comic book in that series.. that isn’t in the system, so that was a bit of a Whut? Hopefully they can find the book and it is not stolen or anything.

Oh, and I am so glad that I visited the non-fiction (new releases) part again, because I found a book I really REALLY REALLY needed and had been looking forward to (Marloes de Vries) and also the newest Herman Koch.

All in all, this girl got a ton to read again, hopefully I got a bit more luck with these books, the past week has been a bit up and down in regards to reading/DNF-ing.

STATS; 12 books. 5 non-fiction, 1 comic, 6 fiction.
