Hey all!!

WOW, a happy welcome to a new post, today I am sharing what new releases of April 2024 I would love to read~

What happened to March? Hahah. I am writing this one 2 days early and I am like, wait it is already time for this post? But isn’t it the beginning of March? HellOOOO? I can see myself at the end of the year wondering what the heck happening to 2024. Anyway, March has been a rollercoaster so far. Mimi (my dear dwarf hamster) died on the 18th, sadly he didn’t want to leave us so we had to go to the vet in the morning. Which just broke my heart further, my hubby and I kept telling him it was fine to go, that we loved him, but he just didn’t want to go. And earlier this month I learned that my dad’s Alzheimer isn’t new. I thought given everything that my mom told me it was just about a year maybe, maybe even less, but apparently he has had it for around 3 years. So were I thought that maybe I had a few years with him, I may have just little time left given that the prognosis for Alzheimer is 5-10 years. sighs Plus, the care people there could really learn some basic communication skills with family members. So yeah, at the moment of writing this on the 18th? My mental health is dead. Currently listening to music and trying to do blogging to get my mind on another track, but for mostly I just want to lie under the bed with more music and nothing else. sighs

There were also good parts about the month, but it hard to think about those at this moment. But here we go. Coco’s fun class/obstacle/agility stuff is going well and she is having a lot of fun with it. I visited several libraries. Backed a kickstarter with some gorgeous Genshin/Honkai hoodies (and cannot wait for them to be made/come to my home). I added some new plants to my balcony. I baked yummy food. I enjoyed the sun when it was around. Gwen had her birthday (2 years yay!).

Reading-wise, well, given how my health was, it was a bit of a DNF-fest along with some good reads.

This upcoming month I got several great looking books to look forward to, hopefully my mental health is getting up out of the deep darkness soon because I want to enjoy them. I think my most OMG need to have book is the newest book in the Mina series by Amy McCaw, I so love those~
