A very excited hi and welcome to a new Book Tag! Recently I came across The Greek Gods Book Tag and I just HAVE to do this one as well!

Be sure to check out the blogger thanks to whom I found it, hello to Dinipandareads! I just couldn’t resist doing this one, and I didn’t think I would be doing it so soon, haha, my blog is quite full (yes, despite all the promises early this year, I really want to take it easy, but I just have so much book love to share), but I thought it would be fun to do it between the reviews I had standing.

Zeus, King of the Gods: Your Favourite Book

Haha, just one?? LoRD, I got so many favourites. PHEW. But let’s see, eenie meenie mini mo. This one! It is a recent favourite of mine!

Shadowhall Academy The Whispering Walls by Phil Hickes, group of girls at night, boarding school, young adult

Hera, Queen of the Gods: A Badass Female Character

Happy End by ζœ‰η”°γ‚€γƒžγƒͺ, Girl staring at you with blood dripping down the cover, horror, manga, gore

Given everything that this girl goes through, most would have given up. Cried. Hid. Just didn’t go on. But she kept going and she is trying despite the despair.

Janus, God of Beginnings: Your Favourite Debut(s)

According to Goodreads this one is a debut, so I will go with this one! This was one HECK of a spooky, strange, sometimes a bit disgusting, but all in all awesome book. And look at that cover, so coool!

She Is a Haunting Trang Thanh Tran, Face, Horror, Scary, Young Adult

Athena, Goddess of Wisdom: Your Favourite Non-Fiction Book

Again? Just one? I read A TON of non-fiction. But OK, here we go. Again one that is a recent favourite of mine. A book filled with recommendations, I won’t be bored any time soon, haha.

101 Horror Books to Read Before You're Murdered by Sadie Hartmann, Arm holding a book coming out of a grave, horror, non-fiction ,books

Aphrodite, Goddess of Love: A book you adore and recommend everyone read

Another recent one! This one is from last year and it was just so a fun, sweet, adorable, cute, wonderful read about two people finding each other at a con. You will squee!

Stars in Their Eyes A Graphic Novel by Jessica Walton Aska, Graphic Novel, Two people kissing, adorable, cute, Prosthetics

Hades, God of the Underworld: An evil book you wish didn’t exist

Do you have a minute? Haha, but seriously, I got some books that I just never want to see again. Let’s see. I will go for this one. Don’t ask how I ever got through it.

The Magicians, Lev Grossman,

Poseidon, God of the Sea and Earthquakes: A beautiful and ground-breaking book

I got quite a few of those but went with this one, especially considering how close the Alzheimer part is hitting home now. A book about a grandma, her grandchild, a big road trip, memories and pain. It was stunning.

Forget Me Not by Alix Garin, Two people hugging

Apollo, God of the Arts: A beautiful book cover

Another recent favourite of mine! This book is not just beautiful on the outside, but also on the inside!!

One World, Many Colors by Ben Lerwill, Alette Straathof

Hypnos, God of Sleep: A book so boring you almost fell asleep

Haha, I got a few of those, sadly, I don’t really keep track of them unless I get pretty far with a book, but generally I DNF pretty fast, but I got one book I read in 2021 that I got to 51 boring % of. LORD. The blurb sounded all fun and interesting, but the actual book was boring, nothing happened, just weird shit.

Don't Look Back by Ben Cheetham, Black/White cover with a house and a tree, boring, mystery

Hermes, Messenger of the Gods: A book you sped through

Mmm, let’s see, a recent one would be this one! I had expected a few more monsters (real monsters) but it was such a ride! A kinda IKEA-esque store, a group of kids determined to find out if things are haunted, chases, monsters, and more. It was soooo fun~

Things That Go Bump by Kathryn Foxfield and Robin Boyden, 4 kids running away from creepy things, spooky, horror

πŸ˜β€πŸ“šπŸ“–πŸ’žπŸŒŸπŸ˜β€πŸ“šπŸ“–πŸ’žπŸŒŸπŸ˜β€πŸ“šπŸ“–πŸ’žπŸŒŸπŸ˜β€πŸ“šπŸ“–πŸ’žπŸŒŸ

I am not tagging anyone as this one has been around for a while, but if you want to do this one be sure to tag me and let me know! I would love love to see everyone’s answers to this tag~

  1. Helloo! I’ve just re-emerged after an unexpected hiatus and I loved reading your answers for this tag. πŸ˜ƒ I totally agree with you on The Magicians. I didn’t expect to be *so* disappointed in that book but holy granola, it was not a vibe. Forget Me Not looks like it would shatter me emotionally so of course I’m going to add it to my TBR! Stars in Their Eyes looks adorable as well.

Also, very random, but I love your blog design! It is super cute 😍

    1. Hello Dini!! Welcome back from hiatus! Thank you~ I am so glad that I am not alone with the Magicians, everyone seems to like it so much. But it was so not good. Lord, those characters. Oh yes, it will do that, be sure to have tissues near you!

Aww, thank you so much! I am happy to hear that~ 😍😘😍😘
