Afternoon all!!

Welcome welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates!! I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

This week was a bit of everything. Good things, but also some not so happy things. I visited my dad on Friday and it was emotional, he was just not doing that well mostly in the emotional part. I had to comfort him several times, and that is hard because I have never really seen him cry. Not to say he was emotionless, but crying just wasn’t one of the things he did. I am happy to say that after many hugs, the fact that I brough his favourite candy and I got him photographs of me, my hubby, Coco, and some others, he was much happier. I am so happy that I could make him smile again. Then I also had some internet related issues (some sites are being difficult about things) that I am still working on. Plus, my eczema is flaring up in my face and it is just not fun.
But fun things as well! I am still happy I visited my dad and could make his day. I visited Library #2. There was a Pokemon GO Community Day. I got some new snacks to try out (including a can of Boba tea). And I am enjoying seeing my garden bloom more and more each week! Oh, and my hubby and I celebrated our 5-year anniversary of living in this home by eating out (McDonalds as we both wanted that a lot more than going fancy, haha).
Reading-wise. Teehee, well I tried reading from my stack, but in the end I went with manga. A lot of manga. The ones I got from my Kodansha sale. The ones I bought in German. And well, of course there were some non-manga books. But my head was clearly more in the mood for stories and pictures instead of just stories.

What did I read from my TBR? When I Arrived at the Castle (Gorgeous, but story went a bit downhill in the later part), Zombie 100 (OHHHH yes, though NOOO to that ending), Dick Fight Island 1 (blushes), Suburban Hell (Oh HECK yes).

I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? Meisje.Vermist.Gevonden (yawn), Hidden Cities (Meh), Genadeloos gevaar (could forgive the spelling error, but that the author had the MC throw her bag in the BACK of a Lamborghini, no).

And here is a new stack! More manga! New library books! And some other TBR books I still have around including a new one that arrived this week~ I am excited about this stack. Let’s see if this week I can focus a bit more on non-manga books, haha.
