Hey!!

Welcome to a new Sunday’s TBR Updates! To the Dutchies, I hope you had a wonderful Koningsdag yesterday!

Well, the week started off OK, but on Tuesday/Wednesday things went down again. On Tuesday Gwen started not feeling well and we thought she was going to pass then, but sadly no, we had to make the decision (just like with Mimi just a month ago) to put her to sleep on Wednesday. My poor little baby. Mimi passed away quite soon from just the sedation, but Gwen just didn’t want to go. LORD, it was so hard to see. And now we have to wait until Friday before we can pick her up from the crematorium (along with Mimi as they are sharing an mini urn). PHEW. So yeah. Not an easy week. I tried visiting Libraries #1 and #4 to make my head a bit lighter and it worked a bit, but still. Now one of our rooms is just empty and it hurts. But I am also not yet ready to get a new hammie (or hammies).
On Saturday I was able to get a bit more distraction as it was Kingsday and a friend popped by for churros, beer, and some events in our town. So some happy moments. Oh, and I did some gardening as my bamboo I planted last year was just going all over the place. I dug both of them up and potted them and added new plants in the empty spots (two prunus plants which should go up as high as 250 cm so that will be a nice green scenery when that happens).
Reading-wise a pretty good week! I read a ton of manga, dug into my ARCs, and tried reading my library books with varying succes.

What did I read from my TBR? Puppy Parents (so cute, wish I had this one last year), Bad Girl Exorcist #1 (this started a bit rough but I am loving it now and love the paranormal stuff), Hello Morning Star #1 (EEEEE cuteeee), Eniale & Dewiela #1 (this was so much fun and hilarious, these two seriously), Gestatten, ich bin’s Isoji #1 (adorable and funny), Dick Fight Island #2 (ohhh yessss), Vandaag niet thuis (this was a lot of fun, made me want to travel), The Trouble With The.. (fun, exciting, and I loved the mythology).

I tried and dropped (and at least tried a chapter or so)? The Only One (It just reminded me too much of a book by Simone St. James), Chaos & Structure (wow what a horrible characters), Misser onder de mistletoe (Jesse got on my nerves), To Lie For (eh).

And here is a new stack! With physical books including my last two manga I need to read + a ton of new library books from #1 and #4 which I visited this week!
