Afternoon all!

A very happy welcome to a new Netgalley TBR Updates, or should I say Netgalley / Edelweiss TBR Updates! That is right! With a new banner to celebrate!

Because since this year I have been using Edelweiss more and more, and thus it wouldn’t be right not to include it in these ARC TBR Updates. Edelweiss is still a big mystery to me, but I found out that they had plenty of ARCs that you can just download instead of having to request. I am just not sure what to put in that request ARC stuff and gave up after a few rejections. That is why I gave up on Edelweiss for years. But this year I found out about those downloadable ARCs and I have been having fun with it! I have found quite some fun reads, some that eventually do get on Netgalley, but also several that never do. So I am very happy that my pool for ARCs is now a bit bigger!

And today I am sharing my Edelweiss and Netgalley TBR. Both of them have some fabulous books on them. On Netgalley I got 3 great manga that I recently got along with a graphic novel for a tour. Oh, and can someone please PLEASE send me some motivation to really get Mermaids Never Drown done? I really want to read it, but something is stopping me. XD
On Edelweiss (which sadly in the modus that makes sharing easier there are no pictures) I got one of my most hyped graphic novels of 2024, Li Chen’s Detective Beans! I cannot wait to read that one, I tried a few pages and I had to stop myself from reading it all in one go, haha. Plus, I got two cute books about pets/nature, I just love these! I wish my country got so many fun children’s books about nature.

I am very excited about all of these books! I am not sure what I will be reading first, the one for the Blog Tour is a graphic novel and doesn’t have to be read until around 25th of May (my tour date is the 27th), so I got some time. But now I am wondering if I should go for the manga or for either Detective Beans or Pet Selector! Let me know in the comments which one I should read first!!
