Evening!!!

Top 5 Tuesday, cute, flowers, stars, books

Welcome all to a new shiny Top 5 Tuesday!! Today I am sharing Top 5 books of the year 2024! Not an easy feat, but I selected some books!

I actually have 17 books rated 5+ star this year so far, so I had plenty of choices. It wasn’t entirely easy, but some books jumped out more than others. I got a bit of everything in here, manga, graphic novels, non-fiction, young adult/MG. Though it seems 3 of the 5 are all spooky stuff, haha, I didn’t realise it until I was writing out this post. I guess my mind is into spooky stuff, can’t blame her!

So far it’s been a pretty good year in reading. Yes, I had some DNF, yes, I had some disappointing reads (some of them my most excited about books), but I also had plenty of fun books that I enjoyed! I am quite curious what is next in the rest of the year, I got some very BIG OMG I NEED books coming out (like the newest Gravity Falls book), so EEP! Bring on the next half. Though I do hope that we get a bit more summer as I just don’t want to think about autumn or winter just yet with all the sad weather we had so far.

Top 5 Tuesday was created by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm, and it is my absolute privilege and pleasure to say that it is now being hosted here, at Meeghan reads!! Each week there is a new theme and you need to find 5 books that fit the theme in one way or another! From TBRs to finding items on covers to books with themes, there are all sorts of fun prompts~
