I received this book from Goddess Fish Promotions in exchange of an honest review.

I just couldn’t resist wanting to review this book, just look at the cover, isn’t that adorable? Plus, I remember the days when I had a plushie (but a bear) who I loved so much.

In this adorable book we meet a little girl named Yaya and her plushie elephant named Fern! They are biggest of friends, but what happens when Fern goes missing? I knew all about the feeling of losing a toy/plushie and not knowing where it is, so I was rooting very much for Yaya to find Fern. It was fun to see her ask her family, she could have just gone willynilly with this and go through the whole house like a storm, haha, but instead she kept a calm attitude and asked the people around her. I loved seeing her go to the places they recommend and of course with each one I was hoping that she would find him there!

I would have liked just a page or two more with Yaya and Fern playing together, that would just have finished it for me.

The art was really adorable and cute and I love the style.

I also love the extra questions in the end, that gives you the opportunity to go back to the book + is a fun way to see if kids really got the story.

All in all, a cute relatable story about a girl, her plushie, and family. I am happy I got the opportunity to read this one!
