New Releases I Hope to Read in October 2024
Hi!!
A very happy welcome to a post in which I will be sharing books I would love to read/try out in October 2024! But wait, where is September going?
Haha, it feels like September is just flying by. I am totally ready to get the spooky season (and after that Christmas season) going, but for me it feels like September just started! September has been a rollercoaster. My dad falling again (this time on his forehead) and the care peeps stopping with medication as it made him too wobbly, which thankfully seems to do the trick because when I visited him last Thursday he was doing pretty OK again. Then there is Coco limping with the doctor first diagnosing it as a ligament problem in her knee and then the next week when things are still not fine diagnosing a big big hip problem (Legg-Calvé-Perthes) and that leading to an operation yesterday (which went fine, even if it was a bit longer than planned as they had to remove some more bone).
Also fun things, thankfully, like library visits, started baking again, my hubby celebrated his birthday on the 15th and we had a fun day at Aviodrome, a small birthday party will happen this evening, enjoying the weather (but also being confused on what the heck to wear each day, haha), planning for spooky season (books but also searching for new decorations to get soon and thinking how many pumpkins would be nice this year), seeing my dad and I just love how he lights up so much when he sees me even when he might not have the best day, and I love he is able to still joke around, even if that means he is joking about not knowing me (the smug little smile when he saw he got me).
What books are you looking forward to this upcoming month? Do you have any spoooooky books that you think I should DEFINITELY check out? Let me know in the comments below~

Oof sorry to hear about your rollercoaster! Happy the surgery went fine for your baby.
Mine had just been prescribed heart medication, but thanksfully she’s more herself now after a week!! Twice a day, so its timr consuming but i’ll be happy to keep her as long as I can! (Plus, one dog on three animals.. that’s not bad 😅)
Yep, we are also so thankful it all went right, and my baby is doing much better, in fact we have to hold her to not do too much, haha.
Aww, that is great to hear. So happy when medication works for your baby. Will she have to have it for the rest of her life? I can imagine, but if this helps then it is just a small sacrifice for a longer life with your baby.
